About Me

Hi there! I’m Yibin, a digital artist and UX designer based in Singapore. I’m passionate about creating impactful, meaningful designs and exploring innovative technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation from Digipen Institute of Technology, under the Singapore Institute of Technology.

I began my career as a 3D artist, focusing on developing VR applications for educational purposes. This role honed my eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, which naturally transitioned into designing user interfaces. Over time, I expanded into a UI/UX design role, driven by my strong passion for interaction design. While creating immersive 3D virtual environments was rewarding, my ultimate goal was to craft engaging and memorable experiences that encouraged users to interact meaningfully with the VR world. As I took on more design responsibilities, I refined my process—sketching ideas, storyboarding concepts, and translating them into wireframes and prototypes.

Currently, I work as a UX designer and digital artist at NUS IT, where I focus on enhancing the student learning experience through thoughtful and innovative digital solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and table tennis, and I have a strong passion for singing. I also spend my free time sketching, playing video games, and working on freelance digital art projects, such as designing Telegram stickers and creating NFTs
